Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Sales Engineer to drive business growth by acquiring and managing projects in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between customer needs and our engineering capabilities, focusing on winning contracts for design, development, and production of medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
– Business Development:
– Identify and establish contact with potential customers in the medical device sector.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
– Project Acquisition:
– Drive the sales process for design, development, and production projects.
– Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals, showcasing BUW Engineering’s capabilities.
– Collaborate with internal teams to align customer requirements with engineering solutions.
– Market Analysis:
– Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry advancements to identify new business opportunities.
– Provide insights and feedback to improve service offerings and positioning.
– Technical Expertise:
– Leverage engineering knowledge to explain technical details of products and services to clients.
– Act as a point of contact for addressing customer queries and resolving issues.
### Qualifications and Skills:
– Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred disciplines: Instrumentation Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields).
– Experience:
– 2+ years of experience in a technical sales or business development role, preferably in the medical device industry.
– Technical Skills:
– Strong understanding of medical device design, development, and production processes.
– Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate requirements effectively.
